Gentlemen,
Before you roll your eyes — this is not a grooming tutorial, and it is not vanity.
It is congruence.
For fifteen days you have been rebuilding the inside. Sleep is fixed. Training runs. The War Plan has a date on it. Money is under guard. And some of you are carrying all of that around in the body language of a man apologizing for existing, wearing the wardrobe of the man you are supposed to be burying.
That is a contradiction, and contradictions leak.
How you present is data. Other people read it before you say a single word. In the first three seconds, whether you like it or not. Sloppy transmits "I do not run my own operation." Sharp transmits "this man holds standards when nobody is checking."
But here is the part that matters more... you transmit that data to yourself. Every time you pass a mirror, your own brain files a report. Fifteen days of discipline, filed under a slouch and a dead pair of shoes, reads like a lie. Make the outside match the inside and the whole system reinforces itself.
The uniform does not make the soldier. But no army in history has ever let its soldiers dress like they gave up, and there is a reason for that.
Today you bring the exterior up to code.
What you need
- A mirror
- Your phone camera (for exactly 10 seconds of footage)
- Your entire wardrobe, pulled out where you can see it
- Bin bags or a donation bag
- Whatever your shoes need: brush, cloth, polish
- Your War Log
Step 1: Set the Grooming Standard
- Haircut: booked or done. Today. Not "I'll see when I have time."
- Facial hair: a decision, made. Clean-shaven, trimmed, or maintained beard. Anything is acceptable except "whatever happened this month."
- Nails: cut and clean.
- Smell: shower standard plus one scent, applied like a man, not a fog machine.
Write the standard down. A standard that lives in your head is a mood. A standard in the War Log is law.
Step 2: The Posture Check
Film 10 seconds of yourself walking. Normal walk, like nobody is watching.
Now watch it.
Most men are shocked. The hunched shoulders, the dropped head, the shuffle of a man being escorted somewhere. You have been broadcasting that on every street for years.
Fix it with one cue — shoulders back, eyes level. Pick your phrasing, write it down, and deploy it every time you pass through a doorway.
Step 3: The Wardrobe Purge
Pull everything out. Every item faces one question:
Would I wear this in front of someone I respect?
No? Bin it or donate it. The stretched shirts, the dead sneakers, the hoodie with the mystery stain you have decided is part of the pattern... Gone. À la poubelle.
What survives is the uniform. Fewer items, zero embarrassments. Every morning decision now starts from a winning position.
Step 4: Clean your Shoes
All of them. Tonight.
Dirty shoes on a disciplined man is a typo in an otherwise good report. People notice. You notice.
Step 5: Write It in the War Log
PRESENCE STANDARD GROOMING RULES: [haircut cycle, facial hair decision, nails, smell] POSTURE CUE: [your exact phrase] WHAT GOT CULLED: [count of items binned or donated]
This standard is now permanent. It gets checked in your weekly review like everything else.
There is no MED today. Booking a haircut takes two minutes and the shoes take five. This mission fits inside any day ever invented.
Veteran Variant
Returning men do not get to chill.
After the purge, upgrade one item. The single piece that raises the entire uniform's floor. One proper pair of shoes, one jacket that fits, one watch. Quality over quantity. Bought or ordered today, funded by the parasites you killed yesterday.
Bottom G Tactic to Watch For
Today he runs Minimization, wearing his favorite philosopher costume.
- "Looks don't matter. Substance matters."
- "I'm not shallow like those guys."
- "Judging appearance is what small-minded people do."
Sounds deep. It is a couch with a bookshelf painted on it. That line is said exclusively by men too lazy to have both. You will notice the men with real substance somehow also own an iron.
The counter — this is not either/or. You built the substance for fifteen straight days. Spending one evening making the packaging honest is not shallow. Shipping good cargo in a wrecked container is just bad logistics.
Step 6: Post your Check-in
DAY: 16 RESULT: PASSED [x] Grooming standard set and written: haircut booked or done, facial hair decided, nails, smell [x] 10-second walking video filmed and watched [x] Posture cue written and deployed [x] Wardrobe culled. If you did not complete the mission, do not lie. Post:
DAY: 16 RESULT: REDO What I missed: [write it clearly] What I will do now: [write the exact time you will complete it]
Final Instruction
You are not the man from Day 0.
Stop dressing like him.
Set the standard. Film the walk. Purge the wardrobe.
Shoulders back. Eyes level. Shoes clean.
Let the mirror file an accurate report for once.
Go.
SKADOOSH
Gentlemen,
Was du brauchst
- Ein Spiegel
- Deine Handykamera (für genau 10 Sekunden Aufnahme)
- Deine gesamte Garderobe, ausgebreitet, wo du sie sehen kannst
- Müllsäcke oder eine Spendentüte
- Was auch immer deine Schuhe brauchen: Bürste, Tuch, Politur
- Dein War Log
Schritt 1: Leg den Pflegestandard fest
- Haarschnitt: gebucht oder erledigt. Heute.
Schritt 2: Der Haltungs-Check
Weg damit. À la poubelle.
Was übrig bleibt, ist die Uniform. Weniger Teile, null Peinlichkeiten. Jede Morgenentscheidung startet jetzt aus einer Gewinnerposition.
Schritt 4: Putz deine Schuhe
Alle. Heute Abend.
Schritt 6: Poste deinen Check-in
DAY: 16 RESULT: PASSED [x] Grooming standard set and written: haircut booked or done, facial hair decided, nails, smell [x] 10-second walking video filmed and watched [x] Posture cue written and deployed [x] Wardrobe culled. Everything failing the respect test is out [x] Shoes cleaned [x] PRESENCE STANDARD written in the War Log [x] Red lines held [x] Phone Law held [x] Sleep Anchor held [x] Morning Protocol completed [x] Food Baseline held [x] Training done ([-] if rest day) [x] Deep Work done: 90 full / 45 base / 25 MED (declared AM) [x] Tomorrow planned TOP G VOTE: Today I fed the Top G by: [write one real sentence] BOTTOM G TACTIC: Today the Bottom G tried to: [write one real sentence] MISSION COMPLETE: Day 16: The outside matches the inside now.
Poste:
DAY: 16 RESULT: REDO What I missed: [write it clearly] What I will do now: [write the exact time you will complete it]
Schlussanweisung
Los.
